We have not been so good with the posting, we know, but man, life just is so full right now.
Neko is growing really fast. Yup, she is no longer that little blind soft thing we brought home, but a true baby: dimples, smiles, cries, screams and personality. I sometimes (late at night, when I should be sleeping) look back at pictures of her, and I can’t even believe she was once so small and foreign. I cannot believe she used to fit inside my body. Her hands and feet have been well documented these many months and are a testament to her speedy gonzales ways. We will continue to marvel and be amazed by her.
A few things happened since the last post here at nekominimode HQ:
- Keren and Neko returned from Israel
- Keren started working
- Neko can now roll over without help from her anxious (and attractive) parents
- Yes, she really can roll over.
- Yes, they really are attractive.
- Uncle Franck is now the latest member of the nekominimode team. His new title is VP of Web Related Activities and Sr. Director of Occasional Diaper Duty (pronounced doodie).
Our last pediatric visit confirmed our suspicions: Neko is half human half Michelin. Weighing in (mind you she is only 4 months) at almost 17 pounds and stretching to a length of 26.3 inches, she is off the charts, literally too big for words.
Friday afternoon further proved to us that she is super babe: we met Douglas and Amelia (and their parents) for a beer in the hood. Neko looks like she ATE the other kids.
Will she be a world champion sumo wrestler? hmmmm…what a BiG future she has!
